APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY
R.A.V.E.N. and Escape Zaventem invite you to join our second HR networking event on October 7 in our innovative center located in Zaventem. Dedicated to modernize entertainment through the use of virtual reality and escape rooms, R.A.V.E.N. has become a Belgian leader in the field of modern team-building activities.
Today, we are going a step further by partnering with exceptional trainers and certified coaches to upgrade fun team-building activities into real training opportunities and today’s topic is appreciative inquiry.
Appreciative Inquiry is a change management approach that focuses on strengths rather than on weaknesses – quite different to many approaches to evaluation which focus on deficits and problems. The emphasis in Appreciative Inquiry, is on identifying what is working well, analyzing why it is working well and then doing more of it.
We can use Appreciative Inquiry techniques as part of an escape room experience, to boost the effectiveness of a fun team building event. By adding just 1 hour to the experience, we help people to remember times where they communicated well, and enjoyed productive team work. Bringing these experiences to the surface, significantly boosts their results and makes them more likely to integrate these experiences in their daily work life.
Join us in learning more about this exclusive combination, learn more about appreciative inquiry and discover or multiple escape rooms and how to use them for training your employees and colleagues.

Christophe Geerkens – specialized in office politics and interpersonal dynamics – shares why people do what they do, and how a few advanced, yet simple, communication techniques can boost team productivity.
Training is often focused on what’s going wrong or is missing, and how to fix that. Instead of focusing on theory and more techniques, what if we helped team members to remember all the positive team experiences they have already had? And boosted cooperation and mutual support? And what if we could do that in a fun and safe environment?
In this specific training and team-building event, we will share some best case practices from high performing teams, and how using appreciative inquiry with escape rooms, builds stronger and more effective teams.
